Rates are for shooting lessons only.
Targets and shells are additional for all lessons, noted as “++”  Loaner guns are available at no charge during lessons. We prefer you bring your own shells, but shells can be made available on request. Target price at Ten Mile River Preserve is $0.75 per target. Targets at other locations are priced by that location.

Individual Instruction: $220 per hour ++

Shared Lessons:
2 people or more: $250 per hour ++

Clinics:
Half-Day: $750 ++
Full Day:  $1,500 ++

Gun Fit Check: $220 ++ and up (depends on number of guns)

Off-premises Instruction, Clinics, Workshops: $1,500/day plus travel expenses.

    Keith gives lessons at his teaching facility located at 290 Sand Hill Road, Dover Plains, NY, adjacent to Ten Mile River Preserve. He also teaches at Mid-Hudson Sporting Clays in New Paltz, NY. Lessons at your private club are available upon request.

    Lessons are conducted rain, snow or shine, unless the weather is severe. If you unsure the lesson is still on, please call Keith at 914-646-1528 to verify.
    We require 72 hours advance notification to cancel weekend lessons and 48 hours to cancel mid-week lessons without penalty. You will be sent an invoice for the missed lesson in accordance with this policy.
    Cash, check or pre-paid gift certificates are accepted.

    Yes, Keith has a variety of loaner guns for all levels of students, as well as shotguns fitted for women and youth. The use of a loaner shotgun is free of charge during a lesson.

    You may bring your own shotgun shells or Keith will arrange for ammo to be supplied to you by the club where the lesson is held. Please let him know in advance if you need ammo for your lesson.
    Keith will have you breaking targets (or more targets) in your very first lesson. As in any sport, practice is essential to continued skill building and success. Keith will advise you on a training program to help you meet your goals, whether recreational or competitive clays or wing shooting preparation.

    Wear appropriate seasonal clothing and outdoor footwear (such as athletic shoes or boots) so you are comfortable outdoors. Loaner eye and ear protection is always available. Caps or hats are helpful year-round for sun glare and weather protection. Some loaner rain gear and hand warmers are available, if needed.
